Not much can go wrong - but it is well built, and it can easily be corrected. I use it on the PowerShot A620, which is only a 4x optical zoom. That using these images off the digital zoom, and without loss of image quality. The price is a nice bag for a permanent dust free when not in use. I bought this m. .lens
